00:00 Introduction 00:27 Why we should learn spoken Korean 00:46 Today's topic; weather 01:04 1) 꿀꿀하다 (to be gloomy) 02:14 2) 우중충하다 (to be gloomy) 03:08 3) 해가 쨍쨍하다 (The sun shines strongly) 05:02 4) 후텁지근하다 (to be muggy and sticky) 06:51 5) 얼어죽다 (to freeze to death) Hello, my lovely minjions~! In this video, I've covered four Korean expressions that native Koreans use all the time when describing the weather. Using simple words like 좋아요, 더워요, 추워요 could be good, but why don't you sound more like a native Korean? :) Thank you so much for watching. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ♥ Buy a cup of coffee for me ♥ * My merch https://teespring.com/stores/minji-teaches-korean * Direct Paypal Sponsorship https://www.paypal.me/minjiteacher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 📮 P.O.BOX ㅣ 사서함 주소 📬 [ENG] To Minji Teaches Korean, Creative Force, 7th floor, 31, Maebongsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul [KOR] 서울특별시 마포구 매봉산로 31 (상암동, S-PLEX CENTER), 시너지움 7층 1인 미디어 사무실 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Follow Me On Social Media ⬇️ [Facebook│페이스북] https://www.facebook.com/minjiteacheskorean [Instagram│인스타그램] https://instagram.com/minji.teaches.korean https://instagram.com/moreabout_minji [Twitter│ 트위터] https://twitter.com/mjteacheskorean ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Check out My Other Video Series ⬇️ [Easy Korean Patterns] https://bit.ly/2rgDUkw [Korean Like A Native] https://bit.ly/2rkOqr1 [A VS B in Korean] https://bit.ly/2PegRPq [Ultimate Korean Endings] https://bit.ly/2Rl7XC7 [Traveling To Korea] https://bit.ly/2OR7m9z [Korean Words Master] https://bit.ly/33RRWX5 📧 [ Business Inquiries │ 업무 관련 문의 ] 📌 minjiteachkorean@gmail.com Copyright ⓒ 2022 Minji Teaches Korean 민지 티치 코리안 All Rights Reserved.

✅ Common mistakes that Korean learners often make while shopping at stores! Let me paraphrase them into correct sentences! 1️ Instead of saying "단지" for "just" and "보다" for "look around", try to use the one verb! 둘러 보다 It means "to look around" ▪️둘러 볼게요 = I'll look around ▪️그냥 둘러 볼게요 = I'll just look around 2️ As for "put on s/th", especially items like sunglasses, hats, etc., you should use the verb "쓰다". And for "trying to do something", use the form "-아/어/여 보다". So, "trying putting on" sunglasses, hats, etc. would be "써 보다". Therefore, "trying putting on" sunglasses, hats, etc would be "써 보다" ▪️안경을 써 보다 = try wearing / putting on glasses ▪️모자를 써 보다 = try wearing / putting on a hat 3️ Avoid translating "come in" to "오다" when you're asking if an item comes in a different color or size. Instead, you can use these alternative ways. ▪️혹시 이거 같은 걸로 다른 색이 있나요? Do you possily have the same one in a diffrent color? ▪️혹시 이거 다른 색도 있나요?/있어요? Do you possibly have this in a differnet color as well? Or you can use the verb "나오다" which means "to come out" in this context ▪️ 나오다 = come out, be published[issued, released, brought out ▪️다른 색도 나와요? = Do other colors come out? ▪️다른 사이즈도 나와요? = Do other sizes come out? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ♥ Buy a cup of coffee for me ♥ * My merch https://teespring.com/stores/minji-teaches-korean * Direct Paypal Sponsorship https://www.paypal.me/minjiteacher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 📮 P.O.BOX ㅣ 사서함 주소 📬 [ENG] To Minji Teaches Korean, Creative Force, 7th floor, 31, Maebongsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul [KOR] 서울특별시 마포구 매봉산로 31 (상암동, S-PLEX CENTER), 시너지움 7층 1인 미디어 사무실 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Follow Me On Social Media ⬇️ [Facebook│페이스북] https://www.facebook.com/minjiteacheskorean [Instagram│인스타그램] https://instagram.com/minji.teaches.korean https://instagram.com/moreabout_minji [Twitter│ 트위터] https://twitter.com/mjteacheskorean ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Check out My Other Video Series ⬇️ [Easy Korean Patterns] https://bit.ly/2rgDUkw [Korean Like A Native] https://bit.ly/2rkOqr1 [A VS B in Korean] https://bit.ly/2PegRPq [Ultimate Korean Endings] https://bit.ly/2Rl7XC7 [Traveling To Korea] https://bit.ly/2OR7m9z [Korean Words Master] https://bit.ly/33RRWX5 📧 [ Business Inquiries │ 업무 관련 문의 ] 📌 minjiteachkorean@gmail.com Copyright ⓒ 2022 Minji Teaches Korean 민지 티치 코리안 All Rights Reserved.

✅ Let me help you fix the common mistakes that Korean learners often make at hair salons by paraphrasing them into correct sentences! 1️⃣ Instead of saying 색을 바꾸고 싶어요, try to use the verb 염색하다 that means ‘to dye’. ▪️염색하러 왔어요. = I’m here to get my hair dyed. ▪️염색하고 싶어요. = I would like to dye my hair. 2️⃣ Stop using 주세요 itself when the preceding word is not an object. ‼️Use this pattern‼️ ▪️verb stem + (아/어/여) 주세요 = “Please VERB” You can use it when you ask someone to do that behavior. ▪️염색해 주세요 = Dye my hair please. 3️⃣Use “으로” to indicate the mean or method! ▪️검은색으로 염색해 주세요 = (literally) Please dye my hair “to” or “toward” black color 4️⃣ 머리카락 means ‘hair’ in Korean, but at hair salons, ‘머리’ is more commonly used because 머리카락 sometimes sound too specific. ▪️머리 좀 자르려고 하는데요. would be translated as "I would like to cut my hair a bit." 5️⃣ 저는 means ‘as for me’ in Korean, but in real-life conversation, when it's clear that the listener knows YOU are the one who is speaking, it can be omitted. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ♥ Buy a cup of coffee for me ♥ * My merch https://teespring.com/stores/minji-teaches-korean * Direct Paypal Sponsorship https://www.paypal.me/minjiteacher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 📮 P.O.BOX ㅣ 사서함 주소 📬 [ENG] To Minji Teaches Korean, Creative Force, 7th floor, 31, Maebongsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul [KOR] 서울특별시 마포구 매봉산로 31 (상암동, S-PLEX CENTER), 시너지움 7층 1인 미디어 사무실 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Follow Me On Social Media ⬇️ [Facebook│페이스북] https://www.facebook.com/minjiteacheskorean [Instagram│인스타그램] https://instagram.com/minji.teaches.korean https://instagram.com/moreabout_minji [Twitter│ 트위터] https://twitter.com/mjteacheskorean ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Check out My Other Video Series ⬇️ [Easy Korean Patterns] https://bit.ly/2rgDUkw [Korean Like A Native] https://bit.ly/2rkOqr1 [A VS B in Korean] https://bit.ly/2PegRPq [Ultimate Korean Endings] https://bit.ly/2Rl7XC7 [Traveling To Korea] https://bit.ly/2OR7m9z [Korean Words Master] https://bit.ly/33RRWX5 📧 [ Business Inquiries │ 업무 관련 문의 ] 📌 minjiteachkorean@gmail.com Copyright ⓒ 2022 Minji Teaches Korean 민지 티치 코리안 All Rights Reserved.

How would YOU tell the number of animals in Korean? When you count or tell the number of animals in Korean, this counter MUST be used; 마리 It's followed after the number of a certain animal. e.g. Three cats = 고양이 세 마리 (The order has to be 'animal' + 'native number' + 'this unit') Check out more examples in this video! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ♥ Buy a cup of coffee for me ♥ * My merch https://teespring.com/stores/minji-teaches-korean * Direct Paypal Sponsorship https://www.paypal.me/minjiteacher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 📮 P.O.BOX ㅣ 사서함 주소 📬 [ENG] To Minji Teaches Korean, Creative Force, 7th floor, 31, Maebongsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul [KOR] 서울특별시 마포구 매봉산로 31 (상암동, S-PLEX CENTER), 시너지움 7층 1인 미디어 사무실 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Follow Me On Social Media ⬇️ [Facebook│페이스북] https://www.facebook.com/minjiteacheskorean [Instagram│인스타그램] https://instagram.com/minji.teaches.korean https://instagram.com/moreabout_minji [Twitter│ 트위터] https://twitter.com/mjteacheskorean ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Check out My Other Video Series ⬇️ [Easy Korean Patterns] https://bit.ly/2rgDUkw [Korean Like A Native] https://bit.ly/2rkOqr1 [A VS B in Korean] https://bit.ly/2PegRPq [Ultimate Korean Endings] https://bit.ly/2Rl7XC7 [Traveling To Korea] https://bit.ly/2OR7m9z [Korean Words Master] https://bit.ly/33RRWX5 📧 [ Business Inquiries │ 업무 관련 문의 ] 📌 minjiteachkorean@gmail.com Copyright ⓒ 2022 Minji Teaches Korean 민지 티치 코리안 All Rights Reserved.

When you count items, people, and animals in Korean, you'll need a specific counter. (Also known as counting unit) And as for counting people, there are two ways. 1. 명 - It's a general way of counting people - It can be used when you count or tell the number of people 2. 분 - This is an honorific equivalent of 명 - It's mostly used in social situations where people should be polite. (For example, servers always use 분 to ask how many people there are) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ♥ Buy a cup of coffee for me ♥ * My merch https://teespring.com/stores/minji-teaches-korean * Direct Paypal Sponsorship https://www.paypal.me/minjiteacher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 📮 P.O.BOX ㅣ 사서함 주소 📬 [ENG] To Minji Teaches Korean, Creative Force, 7th floor, 31, Maebongsan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul [KOR] 서울특별시 마포구 매봉산로 31 (상암동, S-PLEX CENTER), 시너지움 7층 1인 미디어 사무실 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Follow Me On Social Media ⬇️ [Facebook│페이스북] https://www.facebook.com/minjiteacheskorean [Instagram│인스타그램] https://instagram.com/minji.teaches.korean https://instagram.com/moreabout_minji [Twitter│ 트위터] https://twitter.com/mjteacheskorean ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ⬇️ Check out My Other Video Series ⬇️ [Easy Korean Patterns] https://bit.ly/2rgDUkw [Korean Like A Native] https://bit.ly/2rkOqr1 [A VS B in Korean] https://bit.ly/2PegRPq [Ultimate Korean Endings] https://bit.ly/2Rl7XC7 [Traveling To Korea] https://bit.ly/2OR7m9z [Korean Words Master] https://bit.ly/33RRWX5 📧 [ Business Inquiries │ 업무 관련 문의 ] 📌 minjiteachkorean@gmail.com Copyright ⓒ 2022 Minji Teaches Korean 민지 티치 코리안 All Rights Reserved.
